Bought a new Miele washer, dryer and dishwasher. During a promotion, so l have a 10 year warranty on everything. Well worth the money. Had everything for 5 months now and l am very happy with them. And had really good customer service.
We had looked around at several stores in Ottawa so we knew what we were looking for and prices before we went here. Our sales rep listened to us, did not try to up-sell, offered useful recommendations and had experience. We were offered the best price we were able to find. It was a good experience. We paid for delivery of the double oven and thank goodness, those are realllly heavy. It arrived when it was supposed to and the two young gentlemen that delivered it were fer friendly and pleasant. Cars were in the driveway but they threw this large heavy box on a couple straps and happily carried it into our garage. Also a great experience. The showroom also contains quite a large number of samples to view. Thanks
My husband and I recently went to Universal to buy a Bosch dishwasher. We had looked at other stores and had done research so we knew a basic model would fit our needs. We told our salesperson this and he showed us a 1000 model. When he searched for availability, there was none, so he tried to upsell us to a 1500 model. I looked around and found a basic model for 700 and it was available. Salesman never showed us this one. When I mentioned the difference in the finish to our other stainless appliances, he said it was just the lighting. We are senior citizens but are professional people and don't expect to be condescended to by sales staff. We were desperate or wouldn't have bought here. It was not a good experience but the store was recommended to us, so maybe just a poor salesperson.
This is the ONLY place I'll buy appliances in Ottawa. The service is next level for a town not known for its helpfulness. We recently had our top dishwasher rack break. We had bought the dishwasher 5 years ago. Universal replaced it no hassle for free. Place is awesome.
