What a great place to stay. Stayed here for 6 weeks while renovating our tiny house. Hosts are very nice.
We were excited about our camping trip to the south Okanagan to get away from the people in the city, unwind , relax this place was peaceful at first but within 4 hours we had a visitor from the park she was very talkative and greeted us with her cat, that was walked daily. We learned a lot about her, she felt comfortable ( I guess )to tell us her life story.. She seemed nice and we listened, the next day there she is again her and her cat then again..... She told us more then we needed to know .We all have life’s, but this one liked to talk and seemed lonely. On day 4 we had heard enough and decided best not to come out of our RV trying to escape another uninvited visit. A funny thing I have to mention is she walks her cat on a leash daily but at night when we would go out to enjoy the quite, look at the stars there would be the cat on our step or under the picnic table. Not sure but during the day animals have to be in a leash but at night no I guess not. This RV park is nice we were disappointed in the disturbance of our privacy.. I will give it three stars I would have gave it more but what we experienced on our getaway of wanting peacefulness it wasn’t very private.
I called to book a spot this year and was told they have no public washrooms because of the pandemic ??? What ??? I think it’s just because they don’t want to do their job! Restaurants and other public places opening have access to washrooms. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous especially in a campground ! But we did find another campground right beside them and washrooms are open ! !!
A beautiful and quiet RV park on Tuc El Nuit lake. We stopped in for a three-night stay, and ended up extending by another three nights because we liked it so much. Fully-serviced (water, sewer, power) sites (some are pull-thru) and well maintained, with beautiful trees and manicured green spaces and excellent wifi. Very clean laundry area - we didn’t use the shower facilities, but judging from everything the we saw, I expect they were very clean as well. The hosts, Ray and Uharda are extremely kind and helpful. They made every effort to ensure that our stay was first rate. And Ray was especially helpful in ensuring that the site selected for us was suitable in size for our large motorhome and cargo trailer. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake each morning, and spent the afternoons relaxing and exploring the area, including a hike up to McIntyre Bluff. Dogs are welcomed at this resort and all are very well behaved. Most clients are over 50 and we didn’t see any children ... but we were there in September once school was back in... so the atmosphere was quiet and slow-paced. Perfect! I would definitely recommend this RV resort to couples or individuals who are looking for a beautiful quiet retreat, and not all the glitz and amenities that larger parks offer. We definitely plan to return next season.
Not recommended for families with children..I think the rules of this park children are to be seen and not herd ..this is more of a retirement rv park not a rv campsight we did meet some very friendly folk's who helped us with out tralor who lived there but other then that the water is not swim friend ly and neither is the park for kids
Fantastic quiet beautiful place, with waterfront beach. Lovely managers and fellow campers. We had an issue with our RV, and within minutes 5 guys were there helping us to solve the problem. Also very close to wineries. Highly recommended.
Love this RV Resort very clean and well kept. Directly on the lake so try to get a site that backs onto the lake. The RV Resort is in a beautiful location. Very well run, friendly and helpful owners.
