Before the shut down, My son was attending classes regularly and performing well at high level tournaments due to the instructors tutelage and attending regular classes at House of Combat. His confidence ,discipline, focus and fitness level not only increased , but proved transferable in other areas such as school ,home and at his part-time job. We are grateful that during the lock down he is still able to continue multiple classes on line on a weekly basis. Staying in shape, looking forward to on line classes, has kept his spirit and confidence up so when in person classes and tournaments resume he will be ready to go. Having a great resource like House of Combat walking distance from our home has been a Godsend since it cuts down on our travelling time. House of Combat, has enabled my son to associate, learn from, play with children and adults from backgrounds that he normally does not come in contact with. The respect, acceptance and kindness from instructors and students alike has been an invaluable life skills and learning opportunity to grow and open his mind in a variety of ways. We strongly recommend, especially during these challenging and unusual times ,that our son continue to take classes and learn online and in person at House of Combat. Kai and Norman Wellington

Great place to learn! As a flight instructor with over 6 years of experience you know a good instructor when you see one and Joel is great! He's encouraging, communicates clearly, and meets the student where they are at. I'm happy to have found House of Combat!
House of Combat is an excellent Dojo. Not only is the instruction top notch but their focus on discipline in getting the kids to focus is great. They make each kid accountable for any time they disrespect the instructor by having them be accountable in sit ups or push ups or wall sits etc. It is refreshing to see kids not run the show rather the instructors really make them responsible for their actions (in a good way- never aggressively). This is a gem in our community.
this place is absolutely amazing. I've only been here since the summer but everyone there is accepting and you all become close really quickly. 100/100 recommend.
