There's a real sense of community here, and I've pushed the limits of what I thought my body was capable of!

I like trying new things, but as someone who isn't particularly coordinated I was worried about the first class. Julio is a great instructor and does an excellent job managing classes of people with varying skill levels (beginner to black belt). In the last few weeks, I have tried the martial arts, edged weapons, acrobatics, and archery classes. They've all been fun, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the acrobatics class. It's a fun workout that pushes you outside of your comfort zone, while helping you build strength and balance. I would highly recommend Pa Kua and Julio's classes to anyone looking for a fun and unique workout.

The school is very inclusive and welcoming. It is a place you want to be, even when you’re not training. As someone who has practiced yoga at different places for many years, I have finally found a place where I can see my progress in each class. I started with yoga (Sintony) and have since started to practice many other disciplines. The schedule is consistent and classes are with the same instructors who know who you are. At Pa-Kua, there is inclusiveness that anyone can do any class, regardless of any limitations one might have. The instructors and students are always encouraging and friendly, so there is this feeling of belonging when you walk in the door.

Pa Kua is a welcoming and fun place to work out. Julio is a fantastic teacher, who takes the time to learn what you want from your practice and tailor it to each person. Archery is my main practice, but I have loved every class I've taken. It's great to be able to choose what you want to practice. First classes are free and I'm so glad I took the chance to try it out.
