I have used North Shore Plumbing for over 35 years. I recently needed to replace my old hot water tank and decided to upgrade my old inefficient furnace at the same time. The staff, fully Covid compliant, arrived on time and proceeded to change out the hot water tank and furnace. The technicians did an excellent job and cleaned there work area thoroughly. I have not had any issues with the installations. All products and procedures were fully explained before work proceeded. A very reputable company with professional staff.

Called out for drain catcher replacement on sink. New part installed. Within four months, part was leaking freely again. Company only guarantees work for 30 days (other companies offer up to a year) and point blank refused to come and put the work right without a callout fee. The supervisor insisted that because we hadn't oticed the leak\ within 30 days, they had no obligation. I believe the initial job was done poorly, and the company refused to make good, or even come and investigate without charging a fee. Not recommended, do not use this company. UPDATE: Another more reputable company visited to fix the problem. The new part had been installed incorrectly, with the standard rubber gasket instead of a silicon seal. The gasket was already leaking and the new part was already badly corroded and rusted through. That's what happens when you take shortcuts on a job. Second installer was flabbergasted to hear about the 30 day guarantee—his firm guarantees for a full year. Again: do not use North Shore. You will regret it.

Based on the positive reviews, I called for a service person to repair our furnace and was told none were available for 2 weeks so I went elsewhere. In general, when you have a furnace issue it needs prompt attention, so I am not sure of the value or relevance of a Company that cannot meet these needs.
