This is a place to learn to meditate and find peace within oneself. The teacher is a Buddhist monk with plenty of experience teaching and practising meditation and mindfulness.

I have completed couple of retreats with Yuttadamo trashing and guidance. It was life changing !

This Meditation Centre is always open and offers courses for everyone to learn mindfulness meditation. The resident monk is very well versed in Buddhism and Mindfulness and has a lot of experience teaching and practicing in different parts of the world. I have only taken non-residential courses here, as well as two day-long retreats, and they helped me in daily life with a technique to observe present moment reality. Yuttadhammo taught mindfulness meditation at the local University (McMaster) for two years, where he helped guide students and staff on a weekly based to learn how to manage their stress using mindfulness

This is a great place. The foundations course is excellent and really helps change your perspective on life. Also, the daily meetings with Bhante allow him to give you the right small tweak to your practice that helps you to practice much more effectively and see things more clearly. That said, the course is also very difficult, and a few times it seems like all your latent negativity bubbles up to the surface, but by the latter parts it seems like much of it has dissolved. Bhante is a bit strict and not chatty, but he really knows how to guide you through the process well.

It was a life changing experience for me, well worth the effort put in. Can't imagine a better teacher than Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu. Strict, but the best, if you want to tame your mind and see clearly.

Intensive first step in a learning and introspective process.
