My partner and I are huge coffee lovers! When we were looking for a coffee maker, there was a lot of research that we did because coffee is an essential to us. July 2019, we purchased our Bonavita and we absolutely loved it! It was a bit pricey compared to others but it was everything we wanted. 9 months later, April 2020 our carafe cracked in the inside. We never put it in the dish washer and we were always were gentle. It hasn’t even been a year so we figured there would be a warranty. We have one. 1.You need to “fill out the form” 2. Wait for 3 days to get a response 3. Conveniently, it “excludes glass carafes” so this was obviously an issue at some point before. They’re not going to honour it. You can’t use the coffee without the carafe. They don’t care to respond back. They don’t care about customer service. They can’t even admit it could be a manufacturing issue if it’s obviously not something we could have prevented. Add another 45 CDN or 30 USD to your total. Customer service is not a value here.
