Picked up some fresh smoked trout and it was fabulous! Nice alternative to smoked salmon with excellent taste. We got 2 varieties as in smoked and gravalax and both excellent.

I saw this sign on 118 west when I wan heading home and decided to pull in. It’s was a little piece off in the bush but not bad. I was expecting shimmering ponds but all I saw was two washed out ponds with dirty water. Apparently there was some problems with beavers and they don’t have their public fishing open at this time. Little let down, I couldn’t catch my own fish for dinner but I managed to get some smoked trout before I left. Trout was awesome!
