I paid 200 for glasses that snapped twice. I came in after the first pair broke and the guy helping me gave me this "yeah sure" attitude after I explained what happened. He was acting like I was telling him my dog ate my homework. The second pair snapped while wearing them a month later. Why did they snap, well because these 200 frames were poorly made. My 5 pair of sunglasses from Kensington market have lasted me 3 years. My 200 glasses from Hakim lasted me 8 months and that's including the replacement pair. It was an awful experience from start to finish. I do believe this Hakim location has a new owner. At least that's some good news.

I cannot believe the negative reviews on Google. Had nothing but an amazing experience while dealing with this store and it's employees. Ravi Sahil helped throughout the entire process and found me the best deal i could possibly ask for (2 pairs for less than 200 each under the Spring Deal) and with my prescription i couldn't be more satisfied. Price, Quality and Customer Service all rank high in my opinion and have already recommended this place to friends and associates. Keep up the good work.

I had decided to not return due to a bad experience a few years ago. But with the virus limitations and a sale advertised, I relented and tried again. I had left a positive review before actually receiving the glasses....bad idea. I always seem to forget how manipulative and agreeable peyote are when making a sale. And then how it changes once the money is spent! I'll keep this short. After a guaranty that it would be "made right" if I wasn't happy with the glasses, I went ahead and bought them. Apparently, once made and paid for there's no exchanges or returns and nothing can actually be "made right. No cutting lenses to a smaller frame of the sane shape (which I'd been told was possible). No stopping/changing the process, even a day after the order was placed (although it took over two weeks to get one of two pair). No tinting lenses due to glare coating (another possibility mentioned beforehand). Broken promise after broken promise to receive a pair of glasses on which the nose pad broke after just a week. We'll see how the guaranty holds up and how long the replacement nose piece takes! With a 20 cab ride each visit, the cost adds up. Buyer beware...shop elsewhere!

I would like to shout out a BIG thank you to the staff at Hakim on King. I broke my glasses which where purchased there over a year and a bit ago.The arm broke off because it got caught on my mask. Stewart helped me out just before Christmas shut down. He stated that the frame was discontinued but will see what he could do. Well I just picked up the repaired glasses, the arm is not the same but just happy they were able to repair. The best part there was no charge. Hakim Optical London on King. You ALL ROCK!!!!!

as per your website, there is nothing stating that an appointment is required prior to your visit. Seeing as it is difficult to find parking for your downtown location. Upon arriving at your empty store today to be turned away for not having an appointment was to say the least frustrating. You should update your covid protocols on your website accordingly. So that people can either book an appointment or save their time and go to other stores that aren't requiring advance booked appointments.

Horrible service, I ordered my glasses months ago before the pandemic, and paid for half of the order then. With covid closing offices I was told I had to pick up my order from a different outlet, which is fine, except they weren't able to give me my receipt when I picked it up, something about their systems not being able to communicate between stores. I was told they would figure it out and email me my receipt the next week. It's been 2 weeks now, and now I'm being told that I have to come to the store to pick up my receipt now because they dont have the ability to email me a copy of me receipt. Apparently the multi million dollar corporation of hakim optical dosnt own a document scanner. They can print it, but they cant email it to me. Sure.
