Great shop - have purchased a few bikes here over the years. Service is great (customer and bike service)!

Not only these guys have been around for the longest time, the knowledge, level of service, attention to details, showroom, prices etc are beyond excellence. This is a family business, and the life and pride of the owners. I love every time I go visit them. Marty and Wahnita will always go above and beyond so you walk out the door smiling. Definitely recommend this bike shop.

Martin and his wife along with all there staff are the best. Its not easy running a company and Martin has been doing it for decades.... THE BEST.... Number one once again. Thanks Martin....

First Cycleworks is the best hands down. I read all these comments about Marty and service. Never had an issue, never been in the shop to see or hear an issue. In fact they've done nothing but bend over backwards for me. Even after my bike fell off my bike carrier on Hwy 402 at 120km/h. They've been in touch with me keeping me informed of the repair progress. They've offered my different options to keep the repair costs reasonable. I read people commenting about Marty not doing repairs on bikes he didn't sell. I don't blame him at all. Lots of shops advertise we only service what we sell. Why yell at a family owned business for backing their products and not wanting to tarnish their reputation servicing lower quality bikes, but I guess you can't make everyone happy. I don't understand that logic. Good Job Marty and staff! Keep up the great work!

I am writing this during the Covid pandemic. A couple of months ago, my bike was stolen and I decided to get an e-bike replacement. First Cycleworks had one that looked appealing online. The shop was essentially closed, and the staff were very busy and someone brought out the bike for me to have a look. Marty emerged at some point and took the time to tell me about the bike. A couple of days later, I went back and they brought the bike out and again Marty simply said it was a good bike with a reasonable warranty and they would service it. Based on that, I took it without even riding it. Recently after 2 months of problem-free riding (around 800k), the brakes stopped working. I called and they said bring it right out. I did and the problem turned out to be a minor one with a quick fix. Still very busy, Marty popped out and showed me what the problem was, how to fix it myself and even gave me a tool to do it. There was no charge and he wouldn't even take money for the tool. When the brakes became a problem I immediately began to wonder if perhaps I shouldn't have taken more time and done more research. But, it turned out my instincts were right. Marty did not try to sell me the bike or talk me into it, he simply said it was a good bike for my purposes and that if I had any problems he would fix them. The time I would have spent researching, I was able to spend riding, It's a good shop.
