When Joe Reis ran the business we got excellent service. So much so that when we were moving and already had our dryer in the moving van and needed it converted from natural gas to propane, he hopped into the truck and made the conversion there. That was 20 years ago. In 2019 we purchased a beautiful new gas stove from Reis Appliance and a month after it being installed we got a bill for 30 for a part that was required during the installation. The technician never mentioned this so that was an unpleasant surprise. They could have absorbed this charge in return for a satisfied customer. In 2020 we purchased a new fridge from them. The water dispenser was leaking so we called and were told that someone would come out to look at it. No one ever came. We were able to correct the problem ourselves, no help from them.

Friendly service when we looked for help to repair our washer. However, twice, we were not given notice when a technician came to service/diagnose our washer. A new lock was installed, but didn't solve the issue. We were not told that the lock was still installed, and we sent the washer to be scrapped, and we had to pay for the new lock. We were also not notified of the bill total until weeks later. Communication on all fronts could be improved.
