I cannot say enough about Kim's relentless efforts to bring education to us all regarding the Puppy Mills in our community. The poor dogs she is able to rescue go through an amazing transformation, from not knowing what grass feels like and learning how to go up and down stairs. Then they learn trust, and what a rewarding feeling that is to experience. Thank you Kim for all you do, and thank you for my beautiful girls!

Always a positive experience dropping Buddy off. Kim's operation is clean, organized and climate-controlled, and she has taken a personal interest in each of our dogs, over the years. She has a strong sense of each animal's personality and her love of dogs shows through immediately. Although Buddy would rather stay home with us, he has plenty of company and opportunity for exercise and also space to rest in. We don't worry when about our dog when we go away. Highly recommended.

Seven years ago, we made the trek to Kismutt to meet our little girl Muffin, a sweet cockapoo who'd been rescued by Kimberly. Kimberly and the team at Kismutt are relentless in their efforts to end the business of puppy mills in Ontario, and provide safe, loving homes for the dogs they rescue. If you are unfamiliar with the conditions of puppy mills, and the treatment of dogs therein, I encourage you to do some research. They're horrible places and are doing tremendous damage to the dogs they "mass produce". Kimberly and the team at Kismutt save these mistreated souls and help find them loving "forever" homes. This is not a task they take lightly. They work with a sense of kindness and responsibility to the dogs, and they do their research when it comes to potential adopters, in order to ensure these dogs will get the loving homes they so greatly deserve. We are very grateful to everyone at Kismutt, especially Kimberly and her family, for everything they do for these animals. We highly recommend Kismutt to anyone looking to adopt a rescue!

I met Kim from Kismutt Rescue years ago. Since then, my husband and I have adopted 3 furbabies from her. One beautiful Chow Chow and 2 puppy mill mommy survivors. We thank Kim everyday for having such compassion to save our kids lives that bring us such joy and love... Her professionally ran establishment and her instincts on saving abused dogs are second to none. Rescue is so hard. Thank you Kim, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

3 years ago Marley came into our lives because of Kismutt. He was a puppy mill reject that lived outside in horrible conditions. It took many months of working with him and he still has his scared moments. BUT because he is in our lives he is now an amazing foster brother for the animals we bring in. He is able to teach them how to play, how to love, how to trust, and most important, that the bathroom is the best place in the house. These animals can then move on to their forever homes ready for their new lives. Thank you Kismutt for all you have done and for giving us our guiding angel.

We rescued our sweet little Mandy, a Pomeranian when she was around 7 years old. Living currently, she is around 19 years old. A nervous girl, terrified of loud noises and didn't like to be around people for a long time. You could tell the fear she had lived in growing up previous to adopting her. Today she is thriving. She loves camping, going for dips in the pool, laying in the window, and comes out no matter who is over. She has come a long long way in her 19 years and we can't thank Kismutt enough for giving us the opportunity to rescue our Mandy Moo.

I am so fortunate to have come across Kismutt Rescue. True 5 star experience for both adoption and boarding. We adopted our Nora 4 years ago from Kismutt and could not have been more happy with the process. Kim is always happy to provide advice/insight/tips, etc. as she genuinely does care. I would highly recommend Kismutt Rescue (and Boarding).

Thirteen years ago I adopted a little miniature schnauzer from Kimberley and I thanked God every day for the amazing work she did because I was blessed with the love and companionship of the sweetest dog on earth. The adoption process was thorough and my little pup was healthy thanks to her. I had to let him go last year and my heart is still broken. Recently I thought it might be time for another pup. I found one but thought it was a puppy mill puppy so I messaged Kimberley with questions. She called me right away, answered all my questions and gave me lots of information so I could make an informed decision. She loves animals and cares about their welfare. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her facility to anyone looking for a pet, boarding their pet or if they just wanted information.
