Stopped by to get the arms of my glasses adjusted so they stop falling off my face. They will only adjust glasses that come from Hakim optical. Not helpful despite the fact that they have nobody in their store. Off to lenscrafters where they told me they would be happy to help

I came there poor & with nothing. They fixed my glasses. Treated better than a paying customer. More like family. Im doing well personally and financially now. I always go there for my glasses. No matter how far I move away.
Awful all in all. Found a pair I really likes, took some time to get them. Got a great deal on buying 2 pairs so I took that. 2 months later they fall into the lake. Gone. This franchise has ZERO compassion and clings to inane corporate policies like a kid with splattery poops clings to TP. They refuse to honour the discount from less than 3 months ago because I am not buying 2 pairs. No, I am buying my THIRD pair in 3 months but they want 50 more for it. Will not shop here again. Will tell every glasses owner I know of this experience. Will mention it on my finance blog which sees 15,000 visitors monthly. Like I tell me 3 year old - there are consequences for treating people like garbage. Off to social media to share to thousands of followers there too!
I broke a favourite pair of prescription sunglasses and figured I would have to replace them. Nigel at Hakim's offered to try to repair them first and he succeeded. He would not accept payment for his efforts. That is impressive customer service!
Rude and condescending. Don’t waste your time.
if there was an option for less than one star I would have selected it. Awful service, a display of complete incompetence and selfish employees who wish to go home early. If you wish to get lenses or fitting go somewhere else, don't waste your time trying to talk some sense into these braindead employees. The princess and Gardiner branch are dreadful and serve to be a bad reflection of the Company. Complete joke and waste of time.
When I first arrived I accidently went into the main store and people in there were friendly and welcoming. The problem was when I stepped through to where the appointments were. Maybe the woman was having a bad day or maybe she is just unpleasant and rude all of the time. There were several people there and I had an appointment for 1 p.m. I sat for several minutes and then saw a man go into the examination room. I politely asked the man who had accompanied him, what time was their apt. when I was rudely told by this woman, that "As soon as she had finished with the couple who were there that she would get to me". I responded by telling her that I was not asking her but the gentleman beside me. When I again asked him the same question he did not respond. There was a sign saying that on Mondays, which it was, that they took "walk-ins" which I believe the man before was so my apt. time seemed to have made no difference. When the woman finally got to me, I stated that my apt. had been for 1 and she rudely said that the apt. first started with her. I had had enough of being treated by someone who looked as if she had been a spinster school mistress before working at Hakim. If I had treated my patients like she treated the customers, I would have been out of a job very quickly. I ended up going to LensCrafters and what a difference. Love them. Go to LensCrafters if you wanted to be treated professionally and courteously.
Just called , spoke to the “manager” and was treated poorly and I was treated poorly within the first Minuit of the conversation.
