Staff are not helpful. Good luck finding a cart if you want to pick up lumber. Staff members have every cart in store in use. Usually filled with material that they are moving around in store. Then if you're lucky enough to find a cart good luck getting down the aisles. They are usually blocked with building supplies. As a small business owner I am confident that this store is poorly managed

I went in looking for options for a kitchen remodel. I like kent because their prices are really reasonable on materials and tools, you'll find better quality products elsewhere, but the staff here are usually quite knowledgable and helpful. A very DIY friendly store.

Found everything that we needed for the home project. The cost was great on some knotted pine, so we even got extra. There was a process to try and find good pine boards but that was expected. Staff were friendly.

Kent sometimes has good deals, and normally a good selection of product, though a few times lately they've been out of something basic I need - this leads to me shopping elsewhere for all supplies I needed on that trip. On weekends, the store is busy, as one would expect, but the store is not staffed accordingly. Expect to wait 20 minutes in line as they have minimal cashes open, and good luck finding anyone to help you on the floor. Seems to be a bit better on weekdays, but there was a weekday where my boyfriend waited over 30-minutes to speak to someone about a window, hence 2-stars. There are other places to shop that are far less busy with better service.
