Portions are generous, prices are more than reasonable, food tastes great, and the owner shows amazing customer service skills. Fantastic experience here. Also, they use Cavendish fries so really, how could you go wrong? Will be back here in the future!

Excellent home burgers! Hadn't been to John Anderson's in 25 years since the one close to me had closed. The burgers at this location were as good as what I remember. Family run business with super friendly people.

Used to frequent the location on Victoria Park and Van Horne Ave until they sold it. After it was sold it just went downhill. I was super excited when I realized that the previous owners opened this location! Just like the good old days. Banquet burger was fantastic and the onion rings were great! I have not been able to find a place like this anywhere. Will be back to enjoy the chicken souvlaki.

By far, one of the iconic places in Toronto. from lovely staff to even pictures and posters on the wall, all are classic. The food is amazing too. Large portions and greet taste for the dollar value. I strongly recommend my favourite sandwich; Steak on Kaiser with large house salad.

Very friendly and quick service, i ordered the gigantic double home burger and it was great (could use a bit more cheese though), the only issue is that im not a hippopotamus, so i cant open my jaws far enough to take a proper bite out of such a towering massive burger!

If you're tired of burgers feeling small in your hands, order up a burger from this long-standing local joint! Burger made my hands feel small because the patty was so thick! Greek fries are also a nice treat :) A refreshing change from your typical franchise fast-food joint!
