The Truffle Lobster Hand Roll made my eyes roll back!!! The staff's passion and love for the food they serve radiates from their smiles and beautiful presentation. Every time I visit Robson I will always pick up from their easy to order set menu. I can't wait until restrictions during the pandemic ease up so we can have the opportunity to witness the dine in experience they are known for. Thank you for the amazing customer service and delicious sushi Hello Nori, we will be back.

Hello Nori is a unique restaurant that certainly deserves your visit. They provided thoughtful exceptional customer service, they’re right there when you need them. The handrolls were delicious especially the truffle lobster roll, it was by the best one. The pricing is more on the expensive side but worth it. I’ll definitely come back soon!
Managed to come here before the BC lockdown! It’s a very aesthetic restaurant with nice vibes and a U-shaped seating arrangement so you can see them make the hand rolls. They make them one at a time so it stays nice and fresh before they plop the next roll in front of you. The uni was probably my favorite! The sake is also smooth and delicious. I had four rolls and the meal was over pretty quick - it’s not really a restaurant to linger at, so it shouldn’t be too hard to get a spot once indoor dining resumes again!
This little gem just opened up in my neighbourhood and was intrigued by the unique concept. What I always found difficult with eating regular bite sized sushi is balancing it with a chopstick and then dropping pieces of it in my soy sauce dip. With the handmade roll, you don’t need a chopstick. Use your hands and it’s simple. You get more seaweed, rice and the ingredients stay intact as you eat it. Instead of having your sushi break into pieces on your plate, the concept of hand roll sushi is like eating "finger food". I enjoyed the spicy shrimp, lobster truffle and the salmon. If you order sake, you’ll get more than a glass full which is why it is served in a little box to catch the spillage. The price is reasonable. I was surprised that for a small person like me, I ate 5 rolls easily. Nice open ambiance with west coast eco accents (look at the hand-made wooden ceiling decor). Will be back to try more.
Hello Nori offers such a unique experience and food that is well worth it. You're immediately drawn in by the decor and ambience. The staff are very friendly and make the best effort to serve you even when the bar is packed! I ordered the 4 hand rolls set with their house sake. Their sake is a must-try! Smooth and delicious, and went so well with each hand roll. I loved how fresh the seafood was, and Hello Nori's unique sushi rice complements each fish so well served warm each time. From the first bite, you can tell it's seasoned perfectly, making their rolls way above average. If you were thinking that these were just regular sushi rolls you can make or get anywhere else, they'll prove you wrong. Highly recommend this place : )
A completely unique experience. The design is fun, energetic and chill. The food and presentation style is a show in itself. Warm, fresh hand rolls are done before your eyes and delivered as you make conversation. Place was packed for dinner both times I went - the hit on Robson it seems. P.S. The Sake is something else. Never had anything like it. At all costs you need to try their very own Sake, it is not available outside the restaurant.
Absolutely recommend trying this place at least once. A bit pricier than your average sushi joint, but the quality is worth it. The servers and chefs were all great and attentive. My favorite roll was definitely the truffle lobster. My friend doesn't like scallop, but she loved the Hokkaido scallop roll here. I'll be coming here again. Side note, I'd hold off on getting the hot green tea for 3.50 since it was just a normal green tea bag.
Great sushi place with an interesting concept of the hand rolls. Food was on point. My favourite was the avocado roll and the king salmon roll. Both so creamy and delicious. The crispy seaweed really goes well with the warm rice and the filling proportion was just right. I was happy with the food. The only thing I have to complain about was the wait time. I understand this is only their 2nd week of opening and that they're still trying to figure out what's working for them and not. However, the hostess kept telling us it would be another 10 minutes and then another 10 and/or that there would be another table ready soon. We ended up waiting an entire hour and weren't exactly pleased about that. Hopefully they will have a better system in place when we go there next time. They made it right by giving us a discount and drinks were on them for the night. Overall, really nice experience dining at Hello Nori. If you don't mind waiting, I'd suggest coming here when you can.
