I'm very happy with the results of my venaseal procedure. I had a spot by my ankle that was close to being an ulcer. Also, a few varicose veins. Some are now gone and one that was quite substantial is a bit noticeable but so much better. I didn't realize how heavy of a feeling I had in my legs now that its gone. Dr. Matz and his team are very professional and proficient. He explains everything and puts you at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Matz

I had the VenaSeal procedure done on one leg a year ago and the difference is amazing! No more pain and pressure in my upper thigh, big blue/purple patches on my shin, calf and foot or toe that frequently was blue. The procedure was not painful, a little discomfort but not anything that even a whimp like me couldn’t handle! I was extremely happy that following the procedure you are to walk, walk, walk. The more walking you do the better the results! I guess you might be as happy if you don’t like to walk. Dr Matz is a very knowledgeable, kind, caring and calming type of doctor. He is very professional and appointments were pretty much on time. Follow up has been very good; I still have a couple of little spider veins that should continue to improve but Dr Matz is willing to do a little touch up once he can get back to Halifax after Covid, if I want. I highly recommend going to the Canada Vein clinic, I wish I had gone much sooner than I did!

I an extremely happy with the results of my surgery. I now feel comfortable wearing clothing that exposes my legs. The staff, including Laura, the Doctors wife, are friendly and very professional. Dr. Matz is a first rate Doctor. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone. I was able to return to work right away and had no problems at all after the procedure. Dr Matz is an expert in this field and I felt safe in his care.

I call it a miracle! So does my husband. My legs were discolored, ulcered and my feet were blue. The endovenous laser therapy procedures completely turned the progression around and the appearance of my legs and feet has improved dramatically. No lumps and bumps. Dr. Matz and his wife Laura are consistently caring professionals and I am grateful to be one of their extremely satisfied clients.

Visiting Dr. Matz was one of my better decisions. He performed surgery on both legs using clarivein, EVLT, and laser. Where I once had pain, I have none. My ankles are no longer swollen, and I can feel my toes again. I think what pleases me most is that I am no longer self conscious about the appearance of my legs. Dr Matz and his staff tried very hard to make the whole experience a pleasant as possible, and they succeeded. I owe a big debt of gratitude to Dr. Matz and his staff. Marilyn Partington

My History I had developed varicose veins at the age of 18. By age 43 I had enough but my varicose veins had developed into the worst case Dr. Matz had ever seen. What Dr. Matz and his team did was simply amazing. He was able to rid me of my "Frankenveins" and I was finally able to wear shorts without the concern of someone's astonished/disturbed gaze. My only regret is that I didn't do it 20 years ago. Long-term For me the long-term benefits is due to my family's history with type 2 diabetes getting proper blood flow to my legs and feet are paramount to my long-term quality of life. I can finally jog as I am now able to build up endurance in my legs. My legs are no longer "tired" all the time.
