I got medical insurance for my mother who is on visitor visa. Unfortunately we have to make a claim as she had a fall. Initially they told me insurance company will co -ordinate directly with the hospital( false reassurance) which they never did. I received a bill 6 weeks after the hospital visit and I am on hold with the number they gave me for over 2 hours for literally 2-3 days in a row. After 2 hours, the call automatically gets disconnected. Super frustrating. Still waiting for hospital bill to be paid. Side note: Please educate your insurance agents, give misleading information and trap you in their stupid policies.

Easy to buy, hard to get service. Helped my (senior) mother buy trip medical insurance online. Getting the insurance was easy but getting help afterwards was way more difficult than it needed to be. Thank goodness we did not have to make a claim or deal with an emergency!
The reimbursement for dental costs is limited to 1,000 per person per Policy year. I mistakenly assumed it was for the Calendar year. Pretty pathetic when my wife has poor teeth and I have good teeth and need little dental work. A poor POLICY when you can't even combine totals of those members that are listed on it! Get your act together!!
Great knowledge and friendly staff. I love GMS than any other health insurance. I have asthma since birth and GMS is the only one that accepts my pre-existing condition. Very affordable price as well even if you chose the Omni plan plus the enhanced drug. The downside is you have to pay from your pocket right away for the cost for most services but you will get your money back guarantee by claim.
Was told 3-5 business days for claim return. Called 6 business days later and was told it was processed and would receive payment by the end of the day. Still nothing. Called again the next day and was told 48 hours. Seems nobody knows what's going on. Only been with them for a short time and am quite disappointed with the service. THEY COVER NOTHING IMPORTANT, Terrible customer service. Highly do NOT recommend to anyone! Please see great west life!
My experience has been very great so far. Very quick and easy to deal with. Very happy with service so far.
