Those folks are great. And supporting a local business is even better. Going in with an idea on a project, and they're super helpful for the materials and tips on doing it. Would like to see them carry dense dark foam though.

I never knew the staff was sooo knowledgeable... They can walk you through a project ... Easy peazy.

Staff are helpful and provide samples for fabric if needed in terms of colour matching. They are knowledgeable in terms of quantity and the type of material best needed to complete projects.

The staff helped a little bit, but they wouldn't take their eyes off me the entire time I was in the store. Even when I was turned around I felt their eyes on me. As someone who deals with anxiety this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and paranoid. I ended up rushing (so I could get out of there and try somewhere where there was less pressure) and because of that I ended up purchasing fabric with the wrong measurements and never got the rest of what I needed. It was really intense for simply visiting a fabric store. I found the staff at Atlantic Fabrics much more inviting.

Staff were not friendly - felt more like a bother than anything....

Every time I go in, the women working make a point to follow me. I don't know if this is because I'm young, have bright dyed hair, or if it's cause I only buy a few things at a time, but I have never been treated well there. The women are rude to me, and act as if they're doing me a favour by cutting the fabric and ringing me through. Their products are great, but it's not worth the anxiety I put myself through when I'm watched like a hawk. If you're looking for a great fabric store to go to, I recommend Atlantic fabrics in Woodlawn. They're always willing to help me, even though I'm young and strange looking.
