Will not go back to Canadian Tire Auto Service again. They are a real rip off. Canadian Tire used to charge you for the diagnostic if you didn’t have the work done but if you did you just paid the repair cost. This store charges the 110/hr for a 10 minute assessment (after telling them the suspected problem), then you pay the hourly fixed charge for the type of repair as per the book. When asked they say although charging you the full hour diagnostic its to cover putting it back together and reviewing the vehicle after repair completed. That’s what in fact is supposed to be covered by the fixed labour charge for the particular repair. Other shops look at it, tell you the problem and charge for the job. This is now the biggest scam going. Took my vehicle elsewhere for the repair to let them know they could stuff it as will not be bilked in that way, and got the same repair for 200 less at another shop. Mechanic shops are now up there for being crooks like lawyers. Will not be going back to Canadian Tire again.

They got just about everything which is super awesome. However, do not come here to get your keys cut. I have had to return 4 different times because the keys wouldn't unlock my door. I only go to Price's now.
I love going in here for my hunting gear and ammo (when its in stock) and also being able to bring my dog in is a bonus. Only thing I would recommend would be to try to get some new stock in the hunting section
