We were told that Dr. McFarlane was winding down, so made the decision to transfer over to Dr. Bernyk at the same location. This used to be a really great surgery. Michele was not always warm and cuddly on the front desk but she was mightily efficient. Now, no one seems to know what is happening, the doctors are absent and one has to wait nearly a week for repeat prescriptions. This is fine if one can order well in advance at your dispensing pharmacy but if you have been told to only order 10 days in advance then pressure arises. I had to make three trips to the surgery, to eventually collect the correct original paperwork required for a sidestep subsidy on a truck. This despite being told the doctor was familiar with the process. It is easy to blame COVID but we have been working within COVID now for nearly 9 months, please get things sorted out.

Very helpful and wise. Cares a lot about his patients
He took fantastic care of my mother during her fight with cancer and unlike many doctors fills out most(maybe all because we have never paid the extra form fee with him). He took me as a patient when many doctors would not because I had to many thinks wrong and I didn't fit there more walk in clinic set up as opposed to a true family practice where the doctor knows you cares for you and takes an active role on your treatment. He has sent me for referrals and explained things in my diagnosis that I didn't always quite maybe understand. He sent me for MRI, neurologist, spine injections, etc, etc and I believe will exhaust all and any options no matter how remote the chance of helping it may be. he also worked with me asked how's things were working and through that changed my medications and dosing to try and find a optimum treatment regime. He has been amazing to father and done everything I think you can ask from a family practioner to treat him while while he waits to see the right specialists which includes sending him to chatamn and London to specialist. His receptionist is fantastic, she calls you back when you leave a message and she is very good at judging appointment times and lengths so you are not waiting for like an hour past your appointment time. My family has nothing but great respect for this man and what he has done for us and I personally really appreciate it because without him I wouldn't have the answers I do today.
Mc Farlane is a wonderful and compassionate physician who provides excellent care for his patient's.
