The scope of this success has led to building a second plant in London Ontario, opened late October 2009 to better serve our Eastern Canadian & US customers. In December 2015, The Original Cakerie was purchased by Gryphon Investors. Since being acquired, The Original Cakerie, has seen the addition of two sister companies , Lawler's and Atlanta Cheesecake Company to become a part of Dessert Holdings. The organization has been able to broaden its product offerings to customers to become one of the largest dessert manufacturers in North America.

I came here to apply for a full time job as a production worker. When I entered the building there was a old Indian secretary (45 years old) that told me the manager was gone for a meeting and to fill out an application. Once I completed the application I handed it to the secretary who started to make fun of me for not attending college. She consistently asked if I went to college even though it is not written on my application nor my resume. She then began to belittle me for not continuing my education after completion of high school. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a secretary who has no business looking through other peoples resumes. I hope the Original Cakerie takes the appropriate action and handles such a toxic secretary.

We tasted their cake from a friend's celebration and it is delicious. So we decided to buy it. So I called them to ask about the Colossal cake found on their website. The lady was extremely rude saying they don't have anything with that name. I spelled the way it is in their website, and she continued to be rude. Finally they don't sell to pubic, which is fine. The website on maps could be wrong, but it does not justify the way this employee talked to me. At the end the cake is good, but they really need to learn customer service.

My friend gave me this cake as birthday, It was 25lbs cake, I finished it in 40days, It was really good. I am wondering why this guy gave this cake one star, There are not many cake last for few days and still taste as good as fresh. If you know, Please tell us where is best cake for you, sir. If you are on diet, you should not really eat any cake. I would like to buy this cake again, I am wondering that where can I buy it, I live close to this company, Please help, Is it only for wholesale not for retail?
