We were leaving from Montreal for a trip and we decided to stop at the Boulangerie "Pain a tartan" to buy coffee and something to eat in the road. We live relatively close, 20 minutes walking distance, but we had never been to this place in Ontario before and we liked it. The place is very cozy, with a charming and fun decoration, with good options of sweets, quiches and the breads, we bought baguette and a sweet bread to taste and it was really tasty. The coffee is also good, we would prefer little stronger and the service was fast and helpful. Looks like they also have Vegetation and Vegan options. Maybe I came a little too close to closing one day, but the pastry area was pretty much emptied out, so I decided to give the muffins a try. I wholly support this bakery's commitment to using local organic flour and quality ingredients, so I feel almost bad saying that they really needed to be more moist and muffin-like in texture; some sweetness - even a little honey or some more fruit - would really have made a difference. Hopefully, I'll get the goodies I was looking for the next time around - Mimi's Cake Tour
Went there in early Sunday morning, super crispy , I got chausson aux citrons and chocolatine. The price is also really reasonable
There's room for improvement. Paid 3,00tx on a ham and cheese croissant and had a hard time finding the filling (had to zoom in for the picture). The taste is good. Same for the baguette.

This is a great place for carbs! Seriously, the choices here are excellent from bread to pastries to sandwiches. Great place for a weekend brunch.
Lots of chlice for breakfast & lunch. Loved their plain croissant & chocolate almond croissant.
