If you time it right, you can always get on the ferry. Unless it's a long weekend or a dangerous good route, check schedule! Larger ferry, more space, about 25 min ride.

Always good service. It seems as if they are following all of the recommended safety protocols.

Great little ferry. Easy to walk down to booth and prepay.

The Crofton BC Ferries terminal is a fantastic terminal. Although it needs upgrading to keep up with the upward trend in demand, there are still many things about it right now that are very good. The staff working at the terminal (and on the ferry) are friendly, helpful and professional. Terminal traffic is well-organized and dealt with in an effective manner. The ferry ride over to Salt Spring Island provides some absolutely spectacular views. If you are looking to get to the mainland, take the ferry from the Duke Point, Departure Bay, or Swartz Bay terminals; this ferry doesn't take you to the Mainland. It will take you to Salt Spring Island, and you can get to the Mainland from Salt Spring, but you have to take a ferry from the terminal on the other side of the island. Overall, the Crofton Ferry Terminal is a great terminal. But every person in Crofton and on Salt Spring Island is greatly looking forward to when construction begins on the new terminal!

As long as you remember that this is a simple ferry terminal. Do not expect bells and whistles, but if you want a beautiful view of the Narrows and watch eagles, it is a great place.

A small ferry but a quick ride

Very nice spot. Beautiful boardwalk with a creepy boarded up house at the beginning. Very quiet little town

I was there the day of the power outage and the attendant taking fares was a little cranky. Hey we all have our bad days!
