I am a newbie at sewing so I was quite nervous to get started. I was lost in the store and Diane came and gave me a hand. She helped me pick out fabric that was better for my project than what I originally had picked out, gave me tips on how to be successful and hyped me up! Since then, I have come back quite a few times and have had a wonderful experience each time. There always seems to be sales as well. These ladies are all wonderful and so helpful for a newbie like myself. Also, if you are a newbie - get.the.membership! \u003c3

Good fabric selection and friendly staff. Wish they had a few more cutting tables but I also know they're limited because of space.

I have found 9/10 times I go into fabricland cranbrook there is little to no help/ customer service. A few weeks ago I went in for fabric to embroider on and I was mocked for the fabric I chose and when I asked for a recommendation to replace the one I had chose I was ignored. Today I was in for crotcheting supplies, when i went to pay i realized i forgot to grab a hook. I went to get one and i couldn't find them My partner asked where they were and we got no reply from the woman checking us out. I was searching for them for probably 5 minutes with no help from this woman. I finally found what I was looking for and she seemed agitated that I took so long.

Got this fabric to make some curtains for the first time and an associate walked me through the whole process from how many meters I'll need to make them, to what kind of finishing I'll need to do to make sure they'll hang right. A big change from other mass fabric stores I've gone to in other towns.
