Our boiler heating system is reaching the end of its service life having provided more than 15 years of comfort to our home. Recently however it has stopped working and become a source of considerable concern given what has been a very cold February.. it quit today and refused my paltry efforts to get it started. It would happen on a Saturday but I did not hesitate to call Cooks. The temperatures were once again predicted to fall well below zero and the specter of frozen pipes was a big concern A technician who had been to our home before to provide yearly maintenance arrived with a tool box full of parts but more importantly; an enthusiastic determination to get this boiler to fire for us. He pulled it apart and discovered a badly burned and plugged burner. This might have stopped most folks I think but there were no parts available. He took considerable time to study it and concluded that it could be used as it was structurally sound; but very dirty. There had also been a failure of a heat shield scattering debris in the firebox A thorough cleaning of the boiler and burner, the replacement of new igniter and other parts and it fired up and ran beautifully with no further codes. We are very grateful for his determined efforts as I write this sitting comfort in our family room. Thank you to him and Cooks!!!! Stan Walter.

Our 30 year old geothermal system failed a week before Christmas. I arranged a service call, but thinking that a new system was due, I dropped in, unannounced, at Cook's office to talk about a replacement. Luke found time for me and impressed me with his knowledge, describing my options. Sure enough, the old unit was not worth repairing. Cook's estimate was much better than the competition. Luke replied to my email questions on some of the technical details and my concerns about sizing, etc. . They scheduled two days for installation. It was completed in one day. This, even though a new circuit board was needed (faulty on delivery). They worked overtime and a colleague drove down with a replacement. They tidied up and swept the basement cleaner than when they arrived ;-) The whole crew and office staff was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

We had an issue with my AC and called around for assistance. With Cook's we received immediate service for a fair price. I found the office staff incredibly helpful, and the service technician thorough. My issue was resolved within an hour. Will definitely call again for future HVAC, Plumbing, or AC service needs.
