Always a great trip. Smooth. Fast. Everything is always clean!

The ferry was on time as always, no issues. The Shelter Bay though had an exciting visitor...

The ferry service was good. It only takes 25 minutes to get across. It is too bad now with Covit you have to stay in the car. You could be enjoying the great scenery instead of breathing in the fumes of some Inconsidered guy in a diesel pusher running his A/C all the way.

As a touring cyclist, here's what you need to know. Pit toilets, no running water, but there's wifi. On the Shelter Bay side there are flush toilets and running water (not drinkable unless you filter/treat), but no wifi. Couldn't find a place to charge the phone on either side. Decent shaded areas for dealing with the heat, but no sheltered areas for the rain.

Loaded us quickly and efficiently. Staff is great . Ferry is small and there are a lot of RV's in summer time. Get there early if you are on tight schedule.

I made it to the terminal at 11 to return to our hotel. The return trips were supposed to leave at 11 30 and 12 30 but the ferry never showed up and I had to sleep in my car for the night
