This review is solely based on service/price as we ended up not using Top Hat for our job. First we noticed their communication was very slow -we had to follow up several times. They are also not detail-oriented-we had several questions about our chimney situation and wanted their professional opinion and they ignored most of it. They also provided no explanation for their opinion on our chimney situation. Second, their pricing is high. Once the quote was finally provided - which we had to ask them for several times - the cost was double what we ended up paying with a smaller local mason.

Had Top Hat in to sweep the wood stove chimney. The service was swift and efficient with zero mess. We are extremely satisfied with Top Hat and plan to use them again in 2018.

Had this company come in to our home over a month ago to provide an estimate on installing a heat pump. We have made 3 calls and actually visited their show room to be told we are busy and will get back to you; to date we have had no follow up. It is obvious new business or giving estimates is NOT a priority. We are very disappointed by this as our initial meeting went well and the company was prompt to come to our home when we contacted them originally.
