The staff here have treated my parents well for years. I brought my Dad's car in to get the wheels re-torqued and they cheerfully and quickly took care of it without questioning why he wasn't bringing it in himself. I always appreciate a mechanic who doesn't treat a woman differently than a man and my Mom was always treated with respect.
Poor customer service from Manager at customer service. Not once but 2 times she was rude. Second experience she actually talked back to us and walked away as if she was going to say something really bad but walked off so that she wouldn't. I have been in customer service for a long time and you don't ever talk back to a customer with an attitude. The worst part of all this is that we are from out of town and it doesn't look good when you have to travel for over an hour
Had the basics. But runs out of stock quickly. If you need anything slightly out of the ordinary or of better quality you need to order it.
Be careful sometimes their tils go on glitch and u get charged twice. Need do enquiry with bank, if you do go through this.
Good place to shop, friendly helpful young people there.
Pretty decent deals everyday lots of foot traffic in and out of that establishment if the store was bigger I woulda gave five stars
I ordered 4 tires via the Canadian Tire web site which said they had 4 of my tires in stock at the Smithers, BC location. The store phoned me shortly after and made an appointment to have the tires installed today at 1:30pm. I showed up and checked in at 1:15. At 2:00 I was told they could only find 2 of the tires and offered me 4 different tires and would get me in right away. All the bays were empty except 2 so I agreed. At 2:45 with my van still in the parking lot I took my keys back and left. Given many previous horrible experiences at Canadian Tire, I should have known better. UPDATE: I called the Customer Service Number as per the reply below. All the Customer Service Reps were busy and I was placed on hold, and waited and waited before I got fed up and hung up. Too funny, you got me again Canadian Tire......
