Returns on unopened products with a receipt are a pain. Returned headlight bulbs in it originally sealed clear package and the clerk insisted on opening it. At that point ended up with a destroyed package and touched halogen bulb glass you are not supposed to touch. Then they ask your phone number to make sure they have your name and address in their system. If they don't have your details they ask for I'd. This is on an unopened product with the receipt and the credit card it was purchased on. Always try to avoid purchasing products unless you are absolutely sure you will not be making a returns they are frustrating.

I'm new to the area and decided to drop in today and pick up some home essentials. Everything was fine until I went to the cashier. I placed my basket on the counter so I could search for my reusable bag. The cashier sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, and roughly DUMPED the contents on the counter. Then pushed the basket toward me and said "think you can put the basket down there" pointing to a cubby, again rolling her eyes. Then she threw my stuff in a plastic bag, not gently at all. And I said I wanted to use my reusable bag, she just ignored me. Then shoved my purchases towards me. Really disappointed with this treatment and do not feel comfortable shopping here again at all! I'll take my business somewhere nicer....

Was looking for shelving, the sales associate was helpfull on current inventory at the store and inventory at their Calgary main warehouse, gave me a time of delivery. What so impressive is that the associate did it all with in 15 min of my inquire. I went to store in-person and left thinking I will be waking for a day or so but in 15mins called me and had the details. Awesome job!

If as i have studied the history of Canadian Tire you appreciate the store even before you arrive ..the service is excellent , each section is clearly marked & attractively presented prices & sales are good best of all I like the programme that supports local sports opportunities for kids
