This is our local store, and they have some very definitive strengths. Their customer service team, at the front desk, is awesome. They are always quick and helpful, and have a lot of knowledge about products and services. We've also experienced hassle free returns which is nice. The store is a bit smaller than others so stock is sometimes sold out or limited in quantity. We usually find the store is quite tidy, but the item locator app often doesn't match where the item is in the store. My biggest complaint about this particular store is the auto department. We had an appointment booked for snow tires, but there was a bad storm and the store was shut. When we called the next morning to reschedule, the person on the phone laughed and said something along the lines of that we shouldn't have waited until the last minute! He put me on hold and I eventually ended up hanging up and calling back. We left two voicemails, neither of which was returned. This is not an isolated incident. We often have trouble getting through, and messages frequently go unanswered. We drive to Bedford Commons now for anything auto service related.

This is a message to bring awareness on the incompetence of auto services of Canadian Tires. I brought my car there for a overall check up and a very loud noise. They told me that changing the timing belt would fix the problem and that everything else was in good working condition on my car. I changed the timing belt and the noise was still there next morning, I bring back the car and they suggested me to fix the problem by... changing the timing belt... again. They did not even check that they did that work yesterday! and they were ready to do it again. After I mention that they already did that, they decided to do a power steering fluid flush. Again it didn't fixed the problem and the noise was still there next morning, I bring it again and they said, next thing to do is changing the power steering pump. \I don't know what else to tell you\, the employees said. I changed garage and I went to Honda Services. First of all, Canadian Tire told me that my car was in good working condition, Honda Services immediately told me, your break pad are about to fail and your car tire need to be changed as well. Honda immediately found the problem with the noise, a O-ring needed to be changed on the power steering pump and I didn't need to change the power steering pump like Canadian Tire said. The worst, I asked Canadian Tire to do a overall safety check up on my car, they did not even look if my break pad was still able to properly work or if my tires was still good.
After visiting another location I was sent here for a specific item. The original store checked inventory and there was to be many of the item I was looking for as well as other options of the same type of item. When I arrived at Bedford commons location- there was none and none similar.. it appears inventory control may be an issue here.. call ahead so you do t waste a trip!
By far, my favorite store. Whenever I need anything, I check Canadian tire first.
Yesterday Jan 22nd. One of the light bulb from the plow blew off, so I was in a pinch got the light bulb and ask if I can borrow a screw driver to take the assembly head light a part and do it my self. It turns out the service manager got one his guy and did it for me. Thank you very much it help me see trough the dark night as I was working. 100% thumps up!!!
