Typical Canadian Tire. Some cheap stuff, some good stuff...you know. However - do NOT approach the auto service counter, or you will stand there, waiting for however long it pleases them without even acknowledging your existence. I stood there for 20 minutes while one guy just keep working on his computer. The rest of the store is normal/no issues.

Plenty of parking available. The store seems to be pretty big and well stocked. Aisles and floor are clean. If you shop in the evening there may not be many staff available to assist you. There is no self checkout at this store.

Last night I went in to auto service to have my headlights replaced and Bernard helped me at the desk. I wanted to write this review to recognize him because he so perfectly reflects great customer service. He helped me and I saw him help other customers and he treats each person with so much care and attention. He is very kind, friendly, personable and very knowledgeable in the service department. I am so happy he is the one that was there when I needed help, best service! I truly hope he is recognized and appreciated by his management. Thank you Bernard! :)

I've never had a problem going into the store and buying something. It's very nice that the website will tell you exactly where an item is located in store. I've purchased several items over the years that I'm quite happy with. BUT no one answers the phone. I've been trying for three days. I'm trying to call the store to see if I can return the vacuum I bought whose battery is now defective without my receipt before coming down there and waiting in line for 30min. (Totally understandable if I can't, my bad for losing it). I was on hold long enough to tidy my living room and put a load of laundry on. When someone finally picked up, it disconnected. Seriously?!

Decent selection in some areas, other seasonal sections seemed to be depleted, but with online stock checking, I wouldn't call it problematic. Check out is a massive choke point, and given how few employees I saw in the store, I would have expected a stronger presence at checkout to expedite the line. I needed a few basic tools and automotive items, and they had them.
