Service??? I'm in the city (1 1/2 drive) fir a meeting and decided to drop by. Front door open...guy sitting inside He just taps on the glass and points to a sign -\ online orders only\ He's SITTING RIGHT THERE! And wouldn't serve a customer! I had a mask and gloves on!. Fine, so I called their # and asked if I could place an order online and pick it up. NO! \You have to come back tomorrow\ Good product and price may soon be forgotten...poor service is remembered for a long time.

Do not purchase anything from this store, the owner is a scam artist. I ordered a 3 litre fruit press from him and he sent me a 1.5 litre fruit press. He refuses to send a return label, and he can not be trusted to refund me if I do send it back at a cost of about 40, when I am out over 211 already. As you can see by the photos I have the 1.5 litre from the sizes their wholesaler provides in the first photo. The BBB has had no luck making CHS refund me. Dee Holt, Kelowna BC

Ordered 10 one-pound bags of grain and found my order was instead a single 10 pound bag while still charging the higher price. Not a big deal but a sign of the general indifference shown towards customer concerns. Owner doesn't seem terribly interested in being available for customers whether that's the limited windows for picking up orders, hours for shopping, or cases of service and support. I find ordering from competitors like OBK to be a more convenient experience overall despite being only a short drive from Canadian Homebrew Supply. OBK will often have things shipped to my door well before CHS can be bothered to prepare an order for curbside pickup.
