CanadaFit Fitness Equipment Superstore I promised myself some time ago, that whenever I came across a person, place or thing that offered noteworthy service, I would write them up. I mean how often is that likely to occur in these recent years of depersonalized and on-line …well, everything - taking the place of old-school quality customer service. And in fact, that threshold of satisfaction has seldom been met, until recently. “CanadaFit” the fitness equipment super-store people, have extended me a level of customer service and professionalism that has inspired me to acknowledge their efforts, here. I have a modest home gym with ageing but well maintained equipment. Recently however, two of the cables on my, no-longer-in-production, Studio 6 Proteus, universal gym, became dangerously frayed. Despite my attempts at repair - that ultimately resulted in a botched suicide attempt when a cable failed and my pull-down bar came crashing down onto the bridge of my nose, breaking my glasses, I decided to resort to professional help. There are surprisingly few quality, safe, custom cable suppliers for fitness equippment found in the western hemisphere, but the people at CanadaFit were able to help. They asked me some questions, took my information and the precise cable measurements - and ends that I required. They even called me back to clarify a detail I had overlooked. In brief, these people extended me the kind of patient and considerate customer service that I too seldom experience these days. The exact cables that I required to overhaul my old equipment, arrived just as promised - with a bonus end fitting thrown in. If CanadaFit are willing to do all that for a couple of cables, I would not hesitate to recommend them for their quality of customer service - for anyone with real fitness equipment requirements. nordin asher
