Why did they take my order and credit card info when they had no intention of being there at the appointed pick up time? So much for supporting local business. I should have ordered from Amazon. In fact, I think I will. I hope the Quilt store is decent enough to offer me a refund. edit: Marty called me back. It turns out that orders placed to the Burlington shop need to be picked up at the Newmarket store. Not exactly local. I hope they are more clear with future customers. That said, he was very apologetic and my order will be ready for pick up in Burlington on Tuesday. I'm somewhat satisfied, although if I had known the whole story at the beginning it would have saved me time and gas. Sigh
