Bob was AMAZING! We decided to take this tour very last minute on the recommendations of a few locals and we are so happy we did. He was able to get us on the next tour which left about an hour after we called. We saw tons of humpbacks (even a baby one! ) and puffins. As well we saw an eagle and a shark. Plus Bob took us out to Spillars Cove to explored the rock formations and caves! Jaw dropping!

Bob gave us the experience of a lifetime. We saw so many whales and a stunning iceberg. I would highly recommend this tour. Going in the zodiac is a much more intimate experience than a larger boat.
We had a great trip with Bob. Being on a zodiac made a big difference compared to a regular boat, you can get much closer to icebergs, cliff or wildlife. Also much faster, so you can cover more ground to find whales. Bob really went out of his way to find them. He also provided comfy full body suit as it gets windy with the speed of the boat.
A phenomenal experience with Bob the whale whisperer!! A must tour if you are in Bonavista. He is knowledgable and friendly and never failed to deliver something that made me say WOW, making it a most enjoyable trip. We saw humpbacks Minkes dolphins puffins and the coastline is spectacular! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Had an amazing time. Checked out two huge icebergs and saw a variety of whales. Captain Bob has a great understanding of the different whale species; how to recognize them, behaviour. The humpbacks were beautiful and interactive. The boat puts you so close to the water that you can watch the whales swimming under it. Tour groups are small, so book now!! It would have been more than worth it at twice the price.
