The place was beautiful but we were unlucky that it was closed when we went there. End of July 2020

A great effort to stay open and function well during Covid. Kudos!

Great community atmosphere with the majority of fellow guests. Wonderful wood fired sauna! Breathtaking grounds to wake up to. Great quick little getaway from city life. VERY rustic, be warned! Only for folks willing to rough it a bit! And bring your friendly face, share and share alike!

For a Wilderness Hostel , this cosy little isolated cabin gives a comfortable night of stay if you wants to be in the midst of nature. They do have no shower or electricity. WIFI is quite limited. But that means you get to socialise with the other guests. Overall quite a friendly atmosphere.

I love it there! I don't even want to review the place to keep this place a secret.

Great Spot for the outdoor enthusiast! The manager was really helpful, and friendly. Perfect to get away from the city and disconnect, yet still have somewhere warm and dry in the evenings to come.

Just a little beyond Lake Louise, there's a hidden gem in the mountains! If you're looking for an off-road, low-key place to stay, this is it. 2 co-ed dorms that sleep 12 each, two private rooms with a shared kitchen, a common kitchen with fridges and stoves, and a common area with a wood stove. There's a wood fired sauna, outdoor fire pit, and three outhouse stalls. Richard is the full-time host. "Office" hours are typically from 5pm onwards. It is off grid and has solar powered lights in all the buildings. No cell service, or plugs to charge electronics, so come out fully charged, but leave with your mind and spirit re-charged!
