Backman Heating & Cooling were the utmost professionals. I engaged them for a simple ducted heat pump unit cleaning but had a few questions for them regarding the efficiency performance of my system. Ryan not only went above and beyond to answer my questions but also went out of his way to verify some of the information he provided and follow-up with me on the telephone. Backman Heating & Cooling was able to advise of settings that may help me optimize the performance of my propane fireplace as a supplement to my heat pump system. Not only do I now have a cleaned system, as I’d ended Backman for, but I’ve also got an improved understanding of how to get the most out of my entire Home heating system. I, of course, strongly recommend their services.

Ryan at Backman Heating & Cooling installed an LG heat pump for us and it has helped our heating bill by being more efficient than the electric baseboard that now serves as a backup. It's also REALLY NICE to have the air conditioning in the summer! The thing that struck me most about working with Ryan is how knowledgeable he is about the world of heating and cooling, and how he was able to educate me as well. This way, I felt confident in the plan we made for a heat pump in terms of brand, investment, and rough sq. ft coverage. They are also on the list of approved contractors so we were able to finance our heat pump through Efficiency NS pretty easily. To this day, Ryan and his team (Trevor and Meredith) are always available to help us out if we have any questions and I couldn't recommend them more.
