A beautiful park to enjoy any time of year, especially in the fall. While there, I saw 3 wedding parties, as it's it's a lovely place to take wedding photos. Who is Alexander Muir? Alexander Muir (5 April 1830 – 26 June 1906) was a Canadian songwriter, poet, soldier, and school headmaster. He was the composer of The Maple Leaf Forever, which he wrote in October 1867 to celebrate the Confederation of Canada.

What a lovely getaway! Right besides the busiest street of Toronto but yet so quiet and calm! It's literally like stepping into another world closer to nature. Best time to visit is now, need not think twice. Beautiful shades of fall. A great walk around evening sunsets. Carry your waterbottle if you might need to. Good cellphone signal strength! If you're a photographer, this place is a bliss.

This is decent size park for in the city and the playground was recently been updated so It is well used by the children from the area.

Go during fall, it's really nice, numerous flowers and interesting plants and actually you can find a nice, isolated, quiet bench to sit and drink your coffee

This is such a beautiful little park. The gardens are so bright and full and there's always wedding photography whenever flowers are full bloom. The paths meander through the greenery. It's such a gorgeous place. Just north of the entrance is a little grass park. I like to run my dog here.

Great little park and the flowers are lovingly tended. Not too spread out like Edwards Gardens so if you are in a hurry and want some cheering up drive in from Yonge and enjoy the flower beds as you stroll past the tennis and lawn bowling courts. If you live in the area you already know how to get there and probably wish less outsiders knew about it. I like the little watercourse, one of the very few in the city core that hasn't been buried as a storm sewer.
