Staff were very friendly and polite. Girl helping me with kids shoes provided excellent customer service. Store was closing in 15 minutes. Never felt rushed. Bought shoes for my 11 year old son.

I decided to order a new winter jacket online. A north face parka jacket which looked really lovely from the photos. After receiving this jacket I realized that there were small imperfections on the jacket For example on the seam and the zip. I was sort of annoyed as I was spending around 400 on this jacket. I took it into the store to get a replacement one which they didn’t have in stock, so the assistant ordered me a new one. Few days Later I received the exact same jacket back with the exact same imperfections but this time with an added pen mark on the front. The store don’t seem to be able to do anything to make my experience better except tell me to wait on hold with customer service for a long time. Sport Chek won’t answer my emails as it’s a busy time. I don’t recommend shopping with sport Chek especially coming up to Christmas. They are clearly not prepared and trained in giving proper customer service when a customer complains. I think I refresher training is needed for the store for sure. Extremely disappointed to the fact that I spent my time returning a jacket to get the EXACT same jacket back. Not cool. I won’t be shopping at sport check again. Safe to say I returned the faulty jacket and they have lost my business. No doubt someone else will get the exact same jacket with the exact imperfections which they might be happy with but I certainly wasn’t. Terrible customer service

Our experience today at sport check started out not too great. We walked in to pick up shoes we had set aside for us, we were waiting about 30 minutes and not a single employee acknowledged our presence. Wed try to tell them we needed help and make eye contact but they kept ignoring us. I went and spoke with a manager (a very kind man I'm so sorry I cannot remember his name) he changed the entire experience for us. He listened to our concerns and apologized profusely. He was kind and courteous towards us. And the best part was he immediately hopped on the floor to help us. He didnt rush us and answered all our questions and helped us pick out the perfect shoes. Thankyou sir for your help and understanding. This man is a great asset to sport check. I hope this is seen and he is acknowledged for being a wonderful manager.
If your looking for a location where footwear employees are doing you a favour, this is your place. Not so interested in service where they just drop the shoes off and walk off, never to come back and see if your good, check out this location. Walmart’s limited shoe selection department where there are no shoes of any significance offer a better customer experience because at least you have the power to help yourself at the self serve section
