My family and I have been clients at Hakim for over 10 years. We started at the Pickering location and changed to the Ajax store. The reason being Gina. Gina is professional, knowledgeable and excels with her customer service. Each and every time we need an adjustment or nose pieces replaced, Gina obliges. She has been the one who has determined the glasses I wear, I totally trust her judgment and honesty. I recently purchased Raybands, unsure of the decision I made as recommended by Gina. I LOVE these glasses and have received many compliments. Gina is not only an asset to Hakim, she has become a friend to our family. Thanks so much Gina

Just called to see what the process was to get some nose pads replace. First call I was hung up on. Second call nothing but attitude not a customer friendly service. I called the Pickering location and it was 100% better.

Matthew who is the manager always takes care of us very well. That’s why I always come here and I always recommend my friends and family members to visit here as well. The optometrist is very good with customers and informative. She is also very personable and friendly :) 5 stars!!

I ventured into HAKIM & was warmly greeted by a friendly, welcoming technician “ Matthew” This was my second time to this particular store.. I came back because Matthew, his knowledge, professionalism, whit, and patience.. Once again, thank you Matthew, I’ll be back to see you in 2 years..

SO UNPROFESSIONAL! My visit to this location was unpleasant and unprofessional. The workers are rude and unhelpful! Especially Gina, completely ignored all my concerns during my appointment. Horrible experience and never going back again!

Went in to see if weld on eyeglasses could be repaired, no one else in store, employee had a quick look said no can't be done and conversation over then employee headed to back of store. When we left there we visited a private practice optician in Oshawa where the friendly owner sat us down and explained very clearly all that had to be done to repair. He took the glasses to the back room, re-welded the cracked metal frame, painted and clear coated the repair and this took him about an hour. He returned with them repaired and repainted perfectly and when I asked 'how much' he replied 'no charge, happy to do it'. What a difference.

Horrible experience. I bought my first pair of glasses there 4 years ago. My GP Dr. gave me a Dr. note to get the optometrist to check my eye. The manager/owner wanted 80. I left went to Ajax Family Eye Care, they saw me no charge, diagnosed the problem with a prescription for eye drops. Amazing customer service! I bought another pair of glasses because they were so nice. Stay away from this Hakim store, go to Ajax Family Eye Care!
