Amazing! We took home the best cat ever. They are very careful in making sure that our new pet was taken care of. The cost (230) went toward shots, pet insurance, tattooing and neutering. The cat is wonderful. We are so blessed.

I adopted a 6 month old kitten named Emma from Winnipeg Pet Rescue on October 23, 2020. The adoption process was simple and quick and involved going over some paperwork. There is no appointment necessary to meet the animals and you can walk in during their business hours any time, which I liked. There are lots of rescue shelters in the city that have very involved and extensive processes which can take quite awhile so I appreciated being able to adopt a kitten on the spot without applying and waiting to hear back. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I was looking at the cats and asking questions. They seem to really care about their well-being. The 230 adoption fee includes the first shot, spaying/neuter, tattoo, and pet insurance for 6 weeks. You are responsible for the second and third shots and have to bring the cat in for the spay/neuter appointment with their vet. They provide you with all the paperwork and vet record of the animal you are adopting. You have to purchase a bag of the cat food which they have been feeding in order to slowly transition the cat to your current food. On the day you adopt, you also get 20% off everything in the store which was nice. I ended up getting a small cat tree! Thanks for a great experience and I’m looking forward to loving Emma and having her part of my family!
Absolutely love this place. I have donated here and donate monthly as well. The staff are so caring and have a passion for the well being of animals. It is so enlightening to see.
