So much fun! And beautiful setting! Great instructions and care on the trails. Appropriate level of difficulty. (We are two fit adults and it was a breeze). Dogs are friendly and excited to run!

Dog sledding with Muktuk Adventures was AMAZING. I felt so welcomed by both the dogs (the real heard workers) and the staff! They answered all my questions and were very knowledgable. The dogs were so happy and friendly. After the ride the owner took me around to see the puppies! Highly recommend!

Just got back from a 3 hr dog sled tour and I had to post as soon as I could. The crew here are fantastic! You can literally show up in shorts and sandals, and they will outfit you for a couple hours in the snow. The dog teams are fun, and listening to the 100 dogs barking and howling is a cacophony I will never forget. The puppies are the cutest things you've ever seen, but if you value your shoelaces, wait until you are in the snow boots to visit them! The sled tour was challenging for this overweight out of shape nearly senior guy, but my experience skiing and motorcycling really helped with the balance. Do not be afraid to fall, but if you do, try to get back on quickly, or you could face a bit of a walk to catch up to your team. Overall, have fun and enjoy it, tip well, and get some puppy kisses!

Wonderful slice of heaven by the Takhini river which offers great excursions for dog sledding and canoeing. Could spend hours with those lovely dogs who have each their own personality but all extra friendly. Especially the old ones who get to wander around for some extra cuddles. Definitely worth to spend your multi day stay in Whitehorse in this unique location.

We had an AMAZING experience, end-to-end. The drive upto this place was like a fairytale, and when you arrive, you're greeted by a large field of dogs (tied up). You then go to the check-in space, where many pet dogs welcome you! The property is gorgeous, and so are the people running it. We were treated with utmost care. My husband and I cut our sledding short because we had a couple of falls, but our sister-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours experience and was very enthusiastic afterwards to recommend it to others! Highly recommend these guys.

It's hard to describe in brief what an incredible time I had at Muktuk. The owners and the staff (who come from all over the world for short or long times) were an absolute delight. The food is delicious and the dogs - some working sled dogs, some retired, some house dogs, etc. - are impossible not to love. You can even bring a dog to your cabin if you want! They will help organize all aspects of your trip and there are many many activities you can partake in. I simply cannot wait to return.

100% a must-do while visiting Whitehorse, no matter the time of year. The dogs are friendly, energetic, and eager to pull the sleds. The staff are welcoming, knowledgable, and clearly care greatly about the animals in their care. Dogs are constantly present both inside and out. You won't get better food out on the trail whether on a sled in the winter or on a canoe in the summer. In the evenings, return to the lodge for good, home-style cooking, surrounded by retired and adopted dogs.
