I was very anxious and apprehensive about even the idea of scuba, but with the help and guidance of the team at Adventure Sports, I felt like I nailed it (and stayed cool). I also got to witness my son and his Scout pack learning at the same time as I did which was pretty magical. I have to say that the AS team were SO on top of their game. So organized. So thorough. There were so many experienced eyes, hands and “fins” in the water that I forgot to worry about something going wrong. The kids all had a great time and felt safe 101%. I highly recommend this experience to all. Especially if you have fears or reservations ️️️️️
After a friend invited me on a trip I decided to advance my skills by taking a nitrox and an advanced open water diving course. They told me about Adventure Sports Newmarket and I am glad that they did. Jody Smith is a real pro and treats people with respect and patience. He has a great team of skilled divers who are eager to help. In 2019 I went on 3 trips with Jodys crew and I have 2 more planned. Traveling with someone who knows the area and has contacts allows you to relax and enjoy the diving. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone interested in diving trips or furthering their skills.
My son just completed his open water course and pool dives. He had an amazing time and couldn’t stop talking about it! Said the instructors made the learning fun and entertaining - not an easy feat to keep a 15 year old entertained in class on a Saturday and Sunday! Well done Jody and team! That makes three of us in the family now and we have decided to do our advanced open water certification with Adventure Sports this summer!
Wow Had a great experience!! All of the staff and instructors were super knowledgeable and professional. Thank you all for my wonderful experiences!! I look forward to the next trip to the sunny warm south!! I hope to do more Tech diving soon!
I am an experienced diver. I have dived all over the world. Ever since my daughter was born I dreamed of the day she would take up this beloved sport. I entrusted this sacred task; my hopes and dreams, to Adventure sports, after a brief conversation with Jody. It was a great course, well run. Nice people with passion and knowledge to back it up. Best of all... It was Fun ! My 12 year old daughter loved it. They got my 10 year old son underwater too.... and my wife is even thinking about it..... let me tell you... that is really something ! Today was one of the best days of my life. Seriously. Do it ! Or stay at home thinking about the other people doing it.
Took the open water course with them, fantastic experience! The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. It may seem like the course is more expensive than other places, but it includes all of the rentals for all of the equipment and the open water dives, which other places only tell you about once you're committed. Highly recommended if you want to get into scuba and have fun.
