Had a great experience at The Bay recently. We purchased an item online but it needed to be picked up within 7 days or else it would be automatically refunded. Living in Squamish, we didn't have time to make it down there so they automatically refunded it and we thought we had lost the sale price for the items (boxing week). However my wife called the store manager and they put on the note on the items allowing us to come in and get it for the sale price after the sale was over. I went into the store to do this and the experience was seamless and well organized. Thanks to the management team for being flexible and on the ball!

Second to none customer service! Celine in bedding and Kate in furniture were both more than helpful on my recent visit. I struggle with anxiety and they were both so completely patient with me as I asked questions and hummed and hawed. Their knowledge of the products was so helpful in choosing what to go with. I now have a new sofa, pillows and bedding thanks to them. Thank you so much for making my shopping experience so completely enjoyable!

The middle aged Persian woman who processed my refund today was extremely rude and condescending. You guys need to provide additional training to her and ensure she understands the quality of customer service required for this job. This is part of the reason why brick and mortar stores such as HBC is on the decline and will likely go bankrupt in a decade.

There was a good selection of quality brands for me to choose from. I was able to get something suitable and comfortable at a reasonable price. In addition, I had a problem with a gift card and the Bay employee got onto the phone to determine what the issue was. She stuck with it until she had an answer despite several redirection from the other end.

Closes very early - 5pm even on Friday so keep an eye on time if planning to go there. Also the signs sitting directly on top of multiple items should apply TO those items otherwise perhaps put the sign somewhere else. Very misleading and was not honoured. Otherwise nice service from ladies working there.

Hudson's Bay used to be a Canadian treasure. This is no longer the case. As a company that had their location shut (Coquitlam) due to not paying rent, you would think they'd want to make some . I understand reduced hours due to Covid, but 9-5? Thats when most ESSENTIAL workers are not available to shop. If I didn't have a giftcard I wouldn't return. I've been trying to spend it but have had to go back due to sale prices not being applied and you can't see as they are rung in. I also had a lady put me in a change room and walk in, unlocking the door, 5 minutes later, without even a knock. Thankfully I had clothes on. I don't know whats going on there but its a dumpster fire at every location.

My order has been canceled for multiple times. Unfortunately I had a gift card for my baby shower and I don’t have any options otherwise I would have definitely gone to another store. Orders being cancelled without a reason and waiting so long to receive the gift card by mail is really frustrating. I am expecting a newborn in couple of weeks and based on our planning her stuff must have been here ling time ago. Now i dont have the furniture and no more time. I am not sure if Hudson bay cares but if I don’t receive an appropriate answer and solution from hudson bay I will use other measures to make sure my voice is heard.
