We showed up without any idea what to expect or how to do this. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very well put together and planned out. We all had the best time and can't wait to do another room. 2 Thumbs way up for Victoria Escape Games. Went for a second room (Wizard school)a few months later and only made it about half way but had a blast none the less. You guys at VEG are awsome. Back for our second atempt on the Wizard school a couple of months later again, made it much farther this time and as before had a blast. I can't praise the VEG enough, truely a most enjoyable experiance. I'm looking forward to our next adventure with them.
So much fun! We played the two hour version and it was a great take on the escape room experience.
Absolute rip off. No instructions received, total waster of time, rude owners.
Poor customer service as well as pricing format. If you only have 2 people they make you pay double the ticket per person. Tickets are 25-35 depending on the event but the minimum charge is 100tax !!! When asked about this fact I was told to go somewhere else ! I don't suggest this place
We had so much fun!! We did the Witchcraft & Wizardry room... very challenging for our small group of 4 adults and 2 kids which made for a full game experience and even though we didn't make it out, it was super close and fun was definitely had! There was a ton of thought put into their puzzles and they crafted a fun and entertaining time for all ages. Definitely interested in trying to solve their next Escape Room!
Great experience. We did the "Trinity Project" - outdoor version, and we "escaped" with seconds to spare! For some of us, it was our first escape room experience. It was a really fun time running through downtown Victoria and getting to see parts of the city we hadn't seen before. The outdoor portion was relatively easy, but I think it has to be so you make it to the indoor component with enough time left to do it. We used all our available hints in the indoor component, and each time we couldn't believe we hadn't thought of whatever it was already. I think this is a good sign that it is a challenging escape room, but not impossible! The staff member with us in the indoor component was very friendly. Make sure you don't do the outdoor component if you're not wanting to be outside for awhile, because you do cover quite a few blocks of distance. This was an excellent first escape room experience though and I'm glad we did it with Victoria Escape Games! Highly recommend!
We did this while in Victoria for a day on an Alaskan cruise on Royal Caribbean. Since we had visited Victoria previously and weren't interested in typical sightseeing, we wanted to find something else to do. While many escape rooms opened too late in the day, Victoria Escape Games was available all day and was perfect for a group of 6. While we had some newbies in the party, the group had a terrific experience (including our 8 year old son) and we escaped the room about a minute late. We highly recommend. If you're looking for something a little different to do during a cruise, this is a great way to spend some time in port. It's also super convenient from downtown.
