Update: After an unpleasant bump in finalization of the service. Issues have been resolved and final service can now be rated as satisfactory. Dec 04 - requested a quote Dec 08 - they followed up Dec 10 - agreed & booked installation & paid Dec 15 - installed, was to expect a call for City Inspection & Permit. Dec 23 - No Word from Milani, called and emailed \u003c NO RESPONSE (it's Christmas holiday season - ok understandable) Jan 05 - called, left msg for a follow up \u003c NO CALL BACK Jan 11 - called, left msg for a follow up \u003c NO CALL BACK Jan 14 - called, left msg for a follow up \u003c NO CALL BACK Jan 18 @ 11am - This Posting. Jan 18 @ 2pm - A FOLLOW UP IS RECEIVED! Inspection booked. Jan 21 - City Inspected. YAY! NEED official invoice from Milani to submit for Fortis rebate. Jan 25 @ 10:30am - called, left msg \u003c NO CALL BACK Jan 26 @ 10:30am - called, left msg \u003c NO CALL BACK Jan 27 @ 10:00am - called, left msg \u003c NO CALL BACK Jan 28 @ 10:30am - call ANSWERED! - Rebate Package and Invoice received. Sales Friendly & Nice. Installers Friendly & Polite. Product Quality Great. Follow up for CITY INSPECTION & INVOICE \u003c Room for Improvement. Recommendation: More than ONE staff member dealing with the follow up and finalizing.

Called at about 3pm for a service request for the next morning. They were able to provide a technician within an hour! Devon R was very helpful and finished the assessment of my shower piping quickly. So he offered to do some preventative maintenance while he was there to use up the rest of the minimum 1 hour call out. Unfortunately the routine preventative maintenance of replacing some sections of copper pipe that were oxidizing was troublesome. There was leak after leak through the new solder joints. This lead to the job extending for a few hours. Devon put in a solid effort, but eventually had to use sharkbite fittings which stopped the leaks. Devon was informative and polite through the process even though it was extending his workday well past 5pm. He also took some time off the bill to make up for the delay.
I had a great experience with Milani, Devon the guy that fixed or toilet and sink was very helpful and organized. He did a clean job and checked if everything worked properly before leaving the apartment. Keep hiring people like Devon, he was fast, organized and did a great job. ️
The Professionalism was amazing and installation was a work of art. The advice and direction received not only resolved the problem I had within the home but the solution and install of a complete new Boiler and heating system for the house was put together incredibly well. The prompt service and repair was done with direction and understanding through the whole process and I would especially like to complement Mattia for an amazing Job. Internally I would also like to thank Raij for the honest direction in of such a large Repair. I would highly recommend Milani for anyone who is looking for quality work at a very reasonable cost.
I called them asking for a quote. I was told that they would provide a free estimate, and that when ready, they would send someone out to perform the estimate. When I called to book the estimator, they then changed the price to 198 for the estimate, which could be credited to the job if I proceeded, but if I decided not to proceed, the 198 would be payable. They admitted that they had quoted me a free estimate to start, but offered no apology or accountability for the bait-and-switch. Poor choice of tactics for a new customer. Not in this day and age will stuff like this fly. Trust out the window, but I'm also glad that I didn't have to find out about how they conduct business with an actual job!
