Great skate shop with an amazing staff. Whether it’s your first skateboard or your next board in the quiver, Les will take good care of you. I thought I did my a decent job researching the wheels I needed for my carving board. My visit at flatspot longboard shop proved otherwise. Les took out a measuring tape, pen, and paper to help me decide on my new set of wheels. He explained the physics behind the design and materials of the different wheels. He wrote down my wants from the new wheels and constructed a table showing the pros and cons of the different wheel options. The best part, he didn’t even try to sell me the most expensive option. He just wanted to provide me with the most fun. Excellent customer service. Will definitely be back for my next board in the quiver.

the best skate shop by far. I checked out many shops but none of theme were as good as this place. they have a feature that was really helpful, you can add a skate tool and lubricant with a package and its really great. the skateboard I got was out of stock everywhere but they had in stock and it was for sale. the costumer service is also amazing. they called me to say that the lubricant I ordered was out of stock , and gave me a better and more expensive one for the same price. Most places would just cancel the order, but these guys know how to do it right. I can't express how thankful I am, if you want a board you should for sure get it from this shop.

At 36 year old I bought my first skateboard here on Saturday. I had sent the shop a message on Friday inquiring about a few boards and wondering what would be a good fit for me both as a beginner as well as a bigger guy. They responded within an hour or two with some suggestions. On Saturday I stopped in and met Les, with whom I was messaging the day before. He showed me quite a few boards and let me know about the pros and cons of each, as well as which will be more suited to me. They have strict protocols in place, which meant I had to wait a few minutes to enter and was more than happy to do so. I would always rather wait, feel safe and like the safety of everyone is being made a priority. This was 100% the case here. This also meant that once I was inside that I wasn't having to fight to get the attention of staff. It was almost like a private shopping experience. I can't say enough good things. I don't know about everyone else, but prior to going into the shop I felt completely overwhelmed with looking at skateboards and all of the options. Upon entering the shop, Les removed that feeling from me. In the end I bought a board that I am so completely happy with. It has been increasingly harder these days to feel happy and excited about anything. I got out for a ride tonight and I feel like I have something now that is a positive way to escape the rest of life. Honestly, this was easily one of the best buying experiences I have had in a long time. Everything felt easy going and welcoming. Definitely check them out.

This place rocks. Old school. I can't believe how far skating has come, some of the coolest boards ever. Been 25yrs. I picked up a Gordito Pantera, this board just glides. holds up my 280lbs no problem. Plus picked up a Dinghy coffin cocktail for a newbie 11yrld she loved it.. thanks to the little lady up front for making everything so easy and teaching an old dog new tricks and the old timer for the tips and tricks...

Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was impressed at the selection across brands and the time and attention they gave to finding a board that fit my needs. It was great to hear how much they work to maintain a community of riders. There were strict protocols in place and I felt very safe shopping there. You can tell they have a passion for longboarding and I look forward to adding to my collection of boards.
