We recently worked with Ellen in the initial planning for our kitchen reno, and were very impressed with her expertise. Her knowledge was invaluable as she guided us through the process of what could otherwise be an overwhelming project. She listened respectfully to our thoughts and offered suggestions as needed. We would totally recommend her as an excellent resource and support to anyone who is undertaking a kitchen renovation!

Urbana did a wonderful job on a kitchen renovation at my Sister's house, so I knew we were in good hands when we started our own project. Our designer, Ellen, was knowledgeable, pleasant and patient with our very specific want list. Customer service and communication is top notch from everyone - the designer, the logistics person and the installer. The cabinetry is excellent quality and we are so happy with our beautiful kitchen.

Stay away if you want service and professionalism. Terrible organization, dysfunctional staff communications, and seriously confused accounting. They were unable to meet the agreed schedule for installation of a bathroom cabinet, despite ample notice, so they agreed we would have our builder do the install and we would be refunded. We had fully paid for everything, including installation. There were long delays in getting the overpayment addressed, and promises that we would be credited from an ongoing project they were dong for us. At the end of their work my husband mistakenly sent in a cheque for the balance of a few hundred dollars, then realized we had not been credited for the overpayment of the same amount. He stopped the cheque and they agreed to sort out the numbers. It was a straight set off as the numbers were the same. We heard nothing further although we asked them to let us know if anything was required. 3 years later we ordered touch up paint for the cabinets, and received a very rude letter claiming to be owed the amount of that cheque. I immediately provided the owner with copies of emails confirming the delays caused by the fact they had no installer, the amount we overpaid for installation, their agreement that our builder would do the install and be reimbursed, and critically their agreement not to cash the cheque given we were owed money from them. The owner has not had the courtesy to respond. ( I am still waiting for the letter she claims in her response to have sent) . Very unprofessional conduct.

Our bathroom, built in bar and wine room are designed to perfection and exceptional quality. Thank you to Carrie for being so attentive to our needs and designing our spaces so beautifully, and Cole for the precision installation. Happy start to finish, we will be using Urbana for all of our future projects!
