Great shop for snowboarders! Charles was a huge help, sharing his insight when I was debating what size to go with for a powder board. The shop also did a great job packing up my gear for its cross-coast delivery to my place in San Francisco. Top notch customer service & great prices! Will buy from them again.

Nice skate shop. Guys are always really nice and helpful. Nice clothes/shoes/ winter stuff. Little pricey but looks good

Hey Ray

Pretty cool little independent skate shop. However the time. I went they were in between putting out their spring line so I didn't really like want they had to offer. They have a really nice shoe selection. Their product is really over priced though. Some stuff is found at zumiez so if you can find it their I'd recommend picking it up their. However they do have a lot of more hard to find items so I guess you'll have to pay extra.

I somehow didn't find out about this snowboard shop until very recently even though it's been around for quite a long time. I was really missing out! I needed a last-minute part for my broken boots right before leaving on a snowboard trip and Charles went out of his way to help me coordinate getting this part just in time. What amazing service! The staff here are awesome and incredibly knowledgeable, and they have great gear and prices too. I will be bringing all of my future business to Sanction and will be highly recommending it to everyone I know because it is definitely the best snowboard shop in Toronto. I know I can trust their recommendations for new snowboards, boots, bindings, and gear because they are far more committed to the industry and to serving customers well than any other establishment I've previously encountered.

I always get my board tuned here. Great service and the guys are awesome. Went in one day with a broken binding and one of the guys gave me the spare part straight from his bag! Can't recommend this place enough.

These guys suck. Their customer service is awful. There is this asian guy and he HATES to help customers. And he has a massive attitude problem. Also the stuff they stock is outdated, looks terrible, and wayyyy overpriced. No wonder they closed down. Bad customer service, overpriced rags. Good riddance.

Absolutley horrible experience I had today. I went to go purchase a complete skateboard setup & one of the employees tried to finesse me. This isn't my first time shopping here for boards. When I come to buy a setup the price after tax is 212 for a complete.Old employees were FRIENDLY & every now & then I'd get cut a deal since I was a REGULAR customer. I came in today to get chagered an astonishing 240 for a damn setup. That's a crazy price for a complete. I've been skating for 5 years & a setup from West 49 is 216 & located in a mall. Thats a damn crazy mark up! Something is being over priced. I've even done the calculation & the price still doesn't even match up close to 240 IF anyone is to spend over 200 on a setup they should get a small discount. That's outragous! These guys are NEVER consistent with there prices, one day it's the right price, another moment it's being over charged. You'll be lucky if someone cuts you a deal now they're so uptight. Also the employees more often than not show up to open the store late. Before I would show up early when the shop opens cause I'd be busy through out the day & workers don't show up 15-30 minutes late to open. I originally came here to support a local skate shop instead of coperate but this made me want to stop. (At Least to not shop at Sanction) Atleast coperate they cut you a deal on complete packages such as Basic, AM, & Pro Packages. (At West 49) Plus they have consistent prices & you can expect them to be open when they open. As mentioned before never had a problem shopping here, it just got bad & progressivly worse over the past summer. SIDE NOTE: I do not work or have ever worked at West 49. I am just using them as an example since I use to shop constantly there before I decided to shop at Sanction. I have never seen a setup cost over 218. Paying almost 3 bills is just ridiculous.
